THE HIGHEST BOLIVIAN MAGISTRATE ON THE RUN
Rómer Saucedo, president of Bolivia's Supreme Court, has fled the country with his family after an arrest warrant was issued against him on suspicion of drug trafficking and membership in a criminal organization. He denounces political persecution orchestrated by the government of President Rodrigo Paz and says he fears for his safety. Bolivian authorities confirm the existence of several investigations and are considering requesting an Interpol Red Notice to locate him.
