TRADE UNIONS MOBILIZED FOR WAGES

Labor unions are calling for a widespread day of strikes and demonstrations this Thursday, November 5, across France to demand wage increases and defend purchasing power. More than 250 rallies are planned, with up to 700,000 protesters expected outside of Paris. Faced with this mobilization, the government says it is particularly vigilant and is reinforcing security measures, while measures to support wages, especially the minimum wage, could be announced.
