Melania Trump will host Russian and Ukrainian representatives at the White House on Thursday, November 5, following a humanitarian truce she brokered in the Kherson region of Ukraine. This six-day agreement allowed for the evacuation of nearly 800 civilians from the town of Olechky and the delivery of humanitarian aid. This meeting comes ahead of further peace talks between Moscow and Kyiv, scheduled for November 10 and 11 in Abu Dhabi under US mediation.
