ARGENTINA IS RECRUITING SPIES
The government of Javier Milei has launched a nationwide recruitment campaign to bolster its intelligence services, with a public competition open for the first time to Argentine citizens. Candidates will have to pass several general knowledge tests, physical and psychological evaluations, and security checks. This initiative comes as the president pursues a policy of reducing public spending, with nearly 80,000 jobs eliminated in three years. At the same time, the budget for Argentine intelligence services has increased significantly, reaching nearly 176 billion pesos by 2026.
