A DUBLIN-ROME FLIGHT DIVERTED AFTER A BOMB THREAT
An Airbus A320 operated by the Irish airline Aer Lingus, flying from Dublin to Rome, was diverted Thursday morning to Évreux airbase in France following a bomb threat. The 151 passengers and six crew members were safely evacuated after a non-incident landing. Bomb disposal teams were called in to inspect the aircraft. This alert comes amid a series of similar threats targeting several commercial flights in Europe in recent days.
