INFLATION REACHES 4 PERCENT IN THE EUROZONE
Inflation in the eurozone accelerated to 4% in October, compared to 3.8% in September, reaching its highest level in three years. This increase is mainly due to soaring energy prices, which have risen by 20.8% annually. This further acceleration is fueling concerns about purchasing power and could prompt the European Central Bank to raise interest rates again.
